Creative Producer Indaba is a development programme structured in three modules over six months, combining in-person with online sessions.

The aim of the programme is to bring together producers who want to develop an African film project and build their skills together. During the workshop, they will learn how to improve their entrepreneurial and leadership skills, develop their creative abilities, and build a lasting and meaningful network.

The programme is aimed at 15 film producers and film professionals. Due to FOCAL’s partnership, one Swiss producer can participate free of charge.

The programme includes plenary sessions and group work, case studies and access to individual meetings with mentors and guest experts. The workshop covers project development, project planning, funding, legal issues, promotion and marketing, advocacy and lobbying, organisational development, network management and leadership.
