FIFDH Impact Days 2022 : Call for projects

Are you a filmmaker with a powerful documentary project and the ambition to make it have a positive, long-lasting effect on the communities it was made for? Then this call is the unique opportunity for you!

Geneva, the headquarter of the WHO, UNHCR, Human Rights Council, hundreds of NGOs and philanthropists active in the human rights protection and advocacy, hosts one of the leading events dedicated to film and human rights, the FIFDH. Through its industry programme: the Impact Days you'll have the occasion to be strategically connected with these key players, that have financial means, contacts and resources on the field and will be your best partners to deliver a successful campaign with your film.

Each year we select 16 strong documentary projects from around the world about urgent social or environmental issues, help their teams craft their impact campaign through our Impact Lab (online on 25-26 January 2022), and connect them to dozens of NGOs, Institutions, philanthropists, in Geneva on 8-9 March 2022. An award is given to the best project.

Documentaries can be important tools to spark conversations and actions that lead to structural and behavioral change.

Whether you have already developed an impact campaign around your film, or are willing to do so, if selected you will get support to develop your impact strategy and will be able to connect to key partners to finance it and reach your impact goals.

For the 2022 FIFDH Impact Days we are looking for bold documentary projects coming from around the world, at any stage of production, driven by thoughtful and in-depth storytelling, bolstered by a compelling visual approach and with a clear vision of the impact they want to make.
